Founded in 1989, Scrigno has become an international benchmark thanks to its level of innovation and the extremely high quality of its pocket door systems. With the acquisition of Master in 2017 and CCE in 2019, Scrigno expanded its activities, and today operates as Gruppo Scrigno, with five different divisions: interior doors, security doors, pocket door systems, automatic door seals and staircases. Gruppo Scrigno employs 450 people across eight plants in Italy, with annual production of over 400,000 frames for pocket door systems, 35,000 security doors, 1,000,000 seals, and 27,000 staircases. Over 50% of Scrigno’s products are exported to 30+ countries, with branches in France, Spain and the Czech Republic. Since 2021, Scrigno has continued its growth as part of the portfolio of PAI Partners MMF, a Private Equity company which invests in mid-cap market leaders around Europe. It is in this context that Rintal, a Forlì-based company specialised in the production of designer staircases, joined the group in June 2024. The majority stake acquisition of Rintal by Scrigno has led to the creation of a new industrial group with a consolidated turnover of over 140 million euros.
